Installation of filter
1. Thoroughly clean the filter and remove filter cylinder;
2. Open plastic bag on one end of filter element interface, and check whether ‘O’-shaped ring is intact and installed correctly or not;
3. Moisturize ‘O’-shaped ring with process fluid (e.g., water);
4. The plastic bag is used as protector. One end of the filter element close to the interface is held for vertically pressing the filter element into the filter positioning hole. After filter element 226 is pressed, the filter element should be rotated for 90° to clamp.
5. Remove the plastic bag, and fix the nut with clamping plate, distance between clamping plate and filter element: 0.5mm;
6. The filter base is equipped with seal ring. Cylinder is aligned with base position. The joint should be screwed in a balanced mode, thereby avoiding leakage.
7. Open the exhaust valve at the top of cylinder;
8. Slightly open the inlet valve for feeding liquid into the filter. The exhaust valve should be closed until the liquid overflows from the exhaust valve;
9. Slow open the downstream outlet valve until it is completely opened;
10. Slowly adjust the inlet valve until it is completely opened;
11. Flush the filter element for 5 to 10 minutes at the flow rate of 250L/h × 10 ".
12. Pressure shock should be avoided during operation.
13. Filtration liquid should be replaced with suitable solvent (water or solvent for liquid medicine) after filtration. The valve should be closed and kept to next batch.
14. If filtration pressure difference △ P> 0.15MPa or flow is decreased significantly, it indicates that the majority of filtration holes have been clogged, the filter element should be handled.

The sterilization filter should be sterilized by steam.
● Disinfection cabinet: Remove the filter element from the package bag, and place it into the disinfection cabinet at 121 ℃ for 30min;
● Online steam sterilization:
1. Close outlet valve, slightly open inlet valve, and regulate inlet steam pressure to P0.1-0.13MPa;
2. Slightly open outlet valve, close the outlet valve if steam is observed, and keep it for 30min 0.1MPa;
(Note: Do not completely open the outlet valve thereby avoiding high temperature steam filtration and filter element damage due to steam passing through the filter element);
3. Clean N2 or air should be rapidly filled for system pressure maintenance after disinfection is completed. Pressure of filled gas should be higher than steam pressure during disinfection by 0.02MPa.
4. Gas pressure can be increased for cooling filter element when system temperature is lower than 100 ℃.
5. If the filter element is wet, steam can not easily pass through the filter element. Water in filter element micro0pores should be firstly evaporated under lower steam pressure, the filter element can be increased to pressure demanded for disinfection after downstream steam is observed.
6. The operator should pay special attention to removing condensate water in steam at any time during disinfection process.

Filter element storage method;
● If the filter is not used within short term, it should be stored in the filter, water containing appropriate antibacterial agent (such as 10ppm sodium hypochlorite solution or 2% formalin) should be added. Antimicrobial agents should be thoroughly rinsed before reuse.
● If the filter element is not used for long term, it should be flushed with water and dried at <60 ℃, plastic bag should be covered and placed in dry and clean place. Please do not move it to sharp object, thereby avoiding damage on the filter membrane and causing unnecessary loss.
